That copyright thing is stupid! Iīd have no problem, to send anyone who is interested in this forum a personal mail with an MP3 file of the track. I mean youtube is a great thing, but the true fans are here! So feel free to send me your adress and I will send the track. Itīs like request for an expertise! You are the Frankie scientists ![]() Some information about this record: It was offered me in 1994 from Esprit Mailorder via fax and I bought it for 275 Pounds. The Magazine Record Collector asked to see and hear the track before Esprit send it to me, wich I agreed. Unfortunately Iīve never heard or read anything about it in the magazine. The Track is absolutely terrible mixed and sounds like an amateur mix. Soundquality is not good! I donīt know anything of the story behind, thats why Iīm very interested in your opinion. Whats the story of the soundclinic, for example? Hear the track and lets discuss it, ok? Frank |

Slade's My Oh My spent a while at #2 behind the Flying Pickets cover of Only You in 1983. |

as keen, like just about everyone else here is, as i am to hear this, i think links to uploaded files is also frowned on and a no-no. pleasurehome's call, but i think it's best left off this forum, sadly. you never know, it might be on a future release..... |

There was a different edit of Art of Noise feat. Tom Jones - Kiss on the Now compilation it appeared on in 1988. I may be wrong about what was different, but I think the instrumental medley section was at the end not the middle. |

Aaaargh! Can't believe I missed this one! It is one of those extremely rare ZTT gems: Multimedia File Viewing and Clickable Links are available for Registered Members only!! You need to or Well, who is the lucky bastard who won this 12"? If there are plans to release the Ca$h album, this obscure track should be included as a bonus, Ian. |

for superhans and everyone else who may be interested, the follow up piece, detailing that Blur vs Oasis incident : Multimedia File Viewing and Clickable Links are available for Registered Members only!! You need to or i made it as exhaustive as i could but trimmed some fat to make it less boring ![]() superhans, a post on "Smiths syndrome" is going to be a certainty, but i'm going to have to do some research on them, DM and one or two other bands first, and my family get upset when i shower my blog with all music and movies and no family updates - will work on it, but put it up after a few more family pics and posts!!! |

marziemcg1, spot on! That was one of the most excellent Christmas Number one battles ever - all and sundry expected Rick's cover of When I Fall In Love to be the Xmas Number One, but the simply brilliant Elvis cover from the PSB is the one that we all bought. in retrospect, yeah, maybe we should have all bought extra copies of that Pogues masterpiece, but then that PSB tune was just as worthy of the top spot. as for the tale of how exactly it came to pass that Neil & Chris even did an Elvis cover, never mind the fact that they scored a Christmas Number One with it, i could post it here but would much prefer to leave the stage open for the many knowledgable PSB fans here to tell the story better than i could....... ![]() |

There's lots of places on the internet to post things like this. It doesn't make it any more legal, but do-able. Of course these boards have to protect themselves so posting actual content onto them is a general no no. I think it's ok to post a link to elsewhere though? youtube, megaupload, etc |
