Just to have the right Informations at hand a 2nd Thread....

Nasher pointed us to Mae McKenna, after a very kind contact with her she provides us some great informations :

"I first met Frankie Goes to Hollywood while appearing with Limahl on a German television show, they were also guests on the show. After the show we went to a club and we were all singing and jamming together. When we got back to the UK, they asked us to do some vocals on their album as they loved our sound. That's how it came to be."

"Apart from myself, the other singers were Lorenza Johnson and Jacquie Challenor (now deceased).

Sam Brown is quite a well known session singer who had a few hits of her own as well.

I had emailed Mae last week but never got a reply. I know of Sam Brown, was'nt aware she done backing vocals, great voice. I beleive she lives just along the road from me in Perthshire .. or she used to.

So that would be Lorenza of ZTT "Jerusalem" fame.

I remember playing that on radio from the promo around the Xmas prior to its release, and the response was amazing. Pity it never caught on, those mixes were damn good.

Also, have met Sam Brown at a party in Liverpool as a teen. My cousin sat on her lap. I was jealous!!!
