Picked my copy up from the PO this afternoon, I've not yet taken it out of its polythene wrapper but what struck me, as soon as I looked at the front & back covers, is that the artwork clearly comes from compressed digital files. The front & back pictures are covered in artifacts (distorting and 'blocking') that you get when you try to enlarge an image to a size beyond what you should do for its resolution.

I hope the inner artwork isn't like this too, bit of a poor show.
Hopefully the vinyl will make up for these flaws...

Have opened the wrapper & my fears have been confirmed...slightly blurred images throughout; I might speculate that the artwork was scanned at a resolution suitable for CD sized reproduction but alas the same resolution images were sent to 'Music on Vinyl' for use on a 12" sized sleeve... not good at all, but then as I say I am speculating. While I'm on the subject why not another point? The inner sleeves open on the wrong side, the vinyl should exit at 90 degree from the text ie the top, not the right hand side.

For those with an eye for the finer details!?

Rant over

Am I alone on this issue, no one has replied?

The vinyl feels pretty substantial, a saving grace...I've yet to play the discs mind  Wink

"I have checked this with our suppliers and have been advised that currently we do not have any confirm dispatch date for this item. So, once we receive the stock for the title, we will immediately dispatch your item to you."

Does not fill me with confidence....

And in the blue corner ZTTIQ1 wieghing in at 446g
And in the other corner the young pretender MOVLP116 wieghing in at 592g

When you compare the two together the sleeve art for MOVLP116 looks like a cheap laser copy Sad

Me too.  It's finally shipped.

Of course I won't be in when it arrives.

Will they be sensible and give it to a neighbour or will I have to track it down?

Still, can't wait.  Note CDwow price has now gone up to £45

Has anyone actually played their copy yet?  Did you notice a difference?

From cdwow at the bottom of the email saying order had shipped

" Do I have to be present to take delivery?
No, as each item will fit through your letter box. "

My letter box isn't that big! Shocked

Don't worry -- I'm sure the postie will be able to fold it and fit it through your letterbox.
