cheers thedude, but if you read that thread in full you can see the clip referenced was not the "pull it off air" moment, it was Simon Bates (doing a stand in for Bruno Brookes, i guess?) announcing the chart debut of Relax before the ban.

i've never heard Mike Read's on air comments about Relax, but i am pretty sure that the bit that we all know and love from the Power of Love 12" is a composite of the chart debut announcement & whatever Mike Read said of the song at some later date.

You are right off course - I was so focused on the first half (the announcement bit) - but the actual yanking the record of isn't there.
